Another_Voice: This fic is a very significant and instructive phenomenon.
Melissa: Why do you think it's instructive?
Another_Voice: It's instructive in the perspective of fanon formation and his influence. Fanon-creative fic, token.

Annatary: I like this work. I'm too lazy to do translasions myself or to read anglo-fiction. Mostly because I allways try to write something myself and I haven't enough space in my mind for other's ideas to think about.))) Why do I like it? Hard to say. Partly because of well-founded cruelty ( I am dog-owner, I 've seen the methods used for breaking animals,so I see very good written pcsychology of dominant and sub-dominant in this fic), partly - I'm a maximalist in my own way. I can believe in the "contract between Alucard and Abraham" theory and the theory of taming. There's no any golden mean for me. It's my imho and my perception. But in "Leashed Darkness" the psycology of "submission" is described VERY - I emphasize - VERY good. And I like it. I'm not that humanist to believe that it's possible to tame the creature with such strong predator instincts with only a "kind word". It's much more efficiently with "kind word and a gun" And I know what is it like to break a predator. You can't do it without cruelty. And I like "Leashed" for validity of the cruelty. One who never meet a casual dominant dog just can't understand it. One who is apriori stronger then another will never realize his place till you force him. In this fic Alucard apears as strong and agressive predator. He has intelligence and pride, but most of his behaviour dictated by his nature instincts.

Schingiuire: I didn't think that many people read this thing I have a lot to live up to with the new version then O_o;
